| Hydro International is committed to a policy of continuous
product development.
Our products are the best the market has to offer and our
research and evaluation methods ensure that site-specific
solutions set the standards.
To ensure that research outputs are of the highest quality,
Hydro International utilises state-of-the-art testing technology
and analytical techniques both in-house and through independent
centres of excellence.
Third Party Verification Hydro International
understands the importance and benefits of utilising external
testing resources that allow our products to be independently
assessed under actual field conditions, working closely
with the following entities:
- Research / Academic Institutions.
- Regulatory Agencies.
- Consulting Engineers.
- Councils / Municipalities.
Part of the Group's development strategy involves harnessing
the immense untapped knowledge potential in Universities
through the formation of collaborative links.
In-house Testing Facilities In addition
to field testing and external validation, Hydro International
operates two dedicated Research and Development Centres
with well equipped laboratories in the UK and US.
Hydro International's advanced testing facility in Portland,
Maine in the US allows full-scale testing to be performed
under controlled conditions. The UK facility includes a
number of hydraulic test apparatuses, including a purpose
designed flow regulator test facility.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
In recent years, Hydro International has developed considerable
expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation.
This ability to mathematically model flow fields and assess
device characteristics is enabling rapid prototyping, thereby
shortening product development cycles, and improving the
quality of outputs.
