How it works

Gross debris and litter are caught in the net as storm drainage is discharged from the outfall.

When the net volume reaches its capacity, the net component detaches and travels a short distance downstream until it chokes off on a short tether, allowing the pipe to flow normally.

Maintenance

The Nettech requires inspections twice a month and monthly cleanings during the rainy season. Depending on size, the net is removed by truck or boat mounted crane for emptying.
