All units are:
  • provided with a remotely controlled emergency pivoting by-pass door.
  • manufactured in grade 304/316 stainless steel as standard.
  • designed to be wet mounted.

Vortex valve control shall comply with the following:

Reg-U-Flo® Vortex Valve flow control shall be manufactured in grade 304 stainless steel, 10 gauge or thicker (depending on hydraulic head) and be of the appropriate configuration and type as stated in the specification. Attachment to the control chamber shall be by means of stainless steel pivoting by-pass doors operated from ground level by means of stainless steel rope. Chamber details take into account the manufacturer's installation recommendations. They shall be Reg-U-Flo® Vortex Valve controls obtained by Hydro International, 94 Hutchins Drive Portland, ME 04102, USA.
