Performance
The performance of the Swirl-Flo® Process is custom designed to meet desired removal rates at each individual site.

It is customary to take influent samples either at the site location or at a nearby location, which are representative of that likely to be encountered.

These samples are analysed utilising a testing methodology developed alongside Aston University in order to assess the settling velocity characteristics of the influent. This data is then entered into an in-house design program, which can accurately predict achievable removal rates based upon removal by gravitational forces alone.

Chemical jar testing can be utilised to assess performance on sites where chemicals are to be added to enhance removal rates.
